Recently, the JDR cable was selected by the British WindPlus as a priority cable supplier for the 25 MW Windfloat Atlantic floating offshore wind farm on the northern coast of Portugal.
The scope of delivery will include the design and manufacture of 66 kV array cables, high voltage terminals and test equipment.
The JDR cable also features a dynamic cable safety system that protects the floating platform in the event of a rope failure.
